Capabilities
CT Tool maintains an environmentally controlled, 100% cellularized manufacturing facility, with virtually all work done on state-of-the-art CNC equipment.
Machining capabilities include 2 and 4 axis Okuma lathes, 4 axis Okuma machining centers, and OD and ID CNC grinding machines.
CNC milling machines offer full simultaneous 4 axis machining up to 26” diameter. CNC lathes can efficiently turn up to 24” in diameter parts.
Capabilities include:
- Spherical grinding of OD and ID features for soft, hardened, plasma sprayed and plated parts up to a 16” diameter.
- Grinding of almost any non-round shape, including hexes, squares, cycloid shapes, ellipses, and almost any other shape that can be defined geometrically up to 16” diameter and 36” long.
- Nital Etch is a non-destructive testing process for inspecting various finished various grades of steel. The company is NADCAP approved for Surface Temper Inspection in addition to customers such as Boeing, Hamilton Sundstrand and Sikorsky Aircraft.
- Our CAD/CAM capability utilizes the latest version of AutoCAD, programming utilizing Edge Cam software and is DNC linked to our manufacturing equipment on the shop floor.
Kitting services provide procurement, pre-assembly and packing of multiple parts as a single kit for efficient production assembly. The benefit to customers is significant time and cost savings in scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, and direct labor.
